In collaboration with Sanguineti Chiavari I designed a control system for remote handling of gangway for yachts that uses a smartphone, which using a special app transforms it into a remote control.
This is a remote command system that uses connection through Wi-Fi, with dead man feature.
It's necessary to hold the button at the screen of the smartphone, and the loss of connection instantly stops the movement.

Always for Sanguineti Chiavari I provided the software for the PLC which handles the Maxxy gangway.
It's a gangway of considerable size, with four different movements.

Another worth mentioning work is the handling of the disappearing gangway of a Wally Yachts tender.
It's a scissor-type output gangway, with the possibility of movement in height and self-aligning steps.
Given the output position close to the water line, and the ability to use the gangway also downwards as bathing ladder, the analogue sensors for detecting the position were inserted in special, custom built, sealed and immersible containers.
